trinity salads

[Exhibit A of fail lighting in old dorm room]

Trinity salads.
4 parts leaves
1 part vegetables

Needless to say they got very boring.
So with the remaining eggs and half and half in the fridge, I made a simple frittata to get rid of one of the many boxes of salad that accumulated on the bottom shelf.

Simply whipped desired number of eggs and desired amount of cream in a pan and threw in desired amount of veggies.
Baked at 350 for about 10-15 minutes.
Devour with packet of honey mustard-dill sauce (that was also in fridge) whilst studying biology.
Easy.

late night snacking

from MP/Trinity
-garden salad

from elsewhere
-avocado
-box of Rice-a-roni (could very well be pasta too)
-can of tomatoes

Just a more exciting way to eat a Trinity salad, since I've had to survive on those this semester.

from MP/Trinity
-onions, mushrooms, croutons
-two boxes of cheese and crackers
-cup of milk

from elsewhere
-salt, pepper, nutmeg
-rigatoni and elbows
-flour
-nonstick spray
-soy protein powder (don't ask - need to use it somehow)

Your basic mac and cheese recipe with three cheeses (those found in the container).
I wasn't planning on cooking the croutons with the vegetables, but they had gotten somewhat soggy in the tupperware, so I just dumped them in the pan too, but it actually turned out pretty good.  Somewhat like breaded vegetables.
Crumbled the crackers on top instead.

So dense and cheesy and guilty.

spring in winter

Making spring rolls for dinner whilst doing Chinese.
Being super Asian.

from the Marketplace
spring mix
carrots
cucumbers
snap peas
sriracha

from elsewhere
Thai sesame noodle from Trinity Cafe
peanuts from friend down the hall
avocado (no pictured) from home
rice paper (not pictured) from home
soy sauce (not pictured) from Whole Foods

This is about the easiest thing you can make right before burritos because you don't need to cook anything unless you want to add shrimp, chicken (which you could get at Trinity), or egg.

1. soak rice paper

2. fill

3. roll

4. eat
